Mental Health Counselor
She/Her/Hers
My goal in therapy is to listen deeply, to serve as a guide for deep exploration and processing, and to offer a toolbox to draw from so that you can cultivate your own sense of calm. I offer support for therapists, healthcare professionals, and others who benefit from processing work-related grief and trauma and learning strategies for wellbeing at work. I also specialize in working with highly sensitive people who deeply process the sensory inputs and events around them, empathize a great deal with others, and may struggle with boundaries. Therapy can offer the chance to explore a more interconnected experience of life, from better understanding relationships to connection with the natural world and spirituality. I offer Nature Walk and Talk therapy (ecotherapy) in the Las Cruces area, and virtual therapy throughout New Mexico. I’m from Las Cruces and returned to my hometown and started a new career as a counselor after previously working in government and related positions in Washington, DC.
Mental Health Counselor & Art Therapist
She/Her/Hers
I view therapy as a safe space for you to tell your story, a safe place to be heard and seen. You are my guide through the dense forrest. While we walk through the forest, there will be moments where I may shine a light brighter in areas just so we can both explore these paths together, safely, and at your desired pace.
Sessions will be primarily talk therapy but the inclusion of expressive therapies will be suggested if you are curious and wanting to try different approaches.
I was born in Barranquilla, Colombia and have lived in the states for the past 40 years. I have been living/working in Santa Fe, New Mexico since 2007.
I have been practicing as a therapist since 2014.
